Description

Gardener's Cottage is an early 19th century house located on South Parade, Chew Magna. The building is constructed from squared sandstone rubble with limestone quoins, and has a double Roman tiled roof with brick gable stacks. It is two storeys high with two windows. The ground floor features a canted bay to the left, containing a central six-pane window and three-pane windows to either side. A sash window with a segmental head sits to the right, alongside an off-centre panelled door with glazed upper section and segmental head. Two similar sash windows are located at the first floor. The gable ends have bargeboards. The interior has not been inspected.
