Description

The Abbey Cemetery Tatton Tomb is a Grade II listed structure dedicated to Lieutenant Colonel Richard Tatton, who died in 1867. The tomb features an obelisk made of marble, resting on a Pennant stone plinth. It is signed by Reeves from Bath and includes incised borders at both the base and the obelisk. Richard Tatton was formerly a member of the 77th Regiment and lived humbly at Blyth, Northumberland. The tomb is located in section III.M.17.18 of the cemetery.
