Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 16th century, with alterations made in the mid to late 17th century and the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a double Roman tiled roof. The building has two storeys and includes three 2-light casement windows. The windows on the right have ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds, and they are set beneath a continuous dripmould on the ground floor. There is a central 20th-century door and an additional 20th-century door to the left.
Inside, the ground floor right room showcases stop-chamfered beams and a chamfered lintel over the fireplace, which has chamfered and hollow moulded stone jambs. The first floor left room contains a freestone fireplace with a moulded and 4-centre headed surround, along with a moulded mantelshelf.
