Description
Dundrum is a pair of houses, formerly three, located on Combe Road in Combe Down. They date from the late 18th century or early 19th century and are constructed from limestone ashlar with pantile roofs. The houses have a wide frontage and are set back and down from the street level, with the rear being higher due to the slope of the site.
The exterior features two storeys with sash windows. No. 46 has two twelve-pane sash windows at the first floor, positioned above plain sashes flanking a panelled door located in a gabled porch. To the right, there is a single-storey wing with a lean-to roof. No. 48 is similar but is partly fronted by the adjoining No. 50. It has one twelve-pane sash window above a four-pane window, with a door under a gabled porch to the left. Both houses have coped gables, an ashlar stack to the right, and another stack at the central party wall. The rear elevation features a cornice and parapet. The interiors have not been inspected.
