Description

Knighton Sutton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed rubble with dressed sandstone quoins, stone dressings, and a double Roman tile roof. The south front features two storeys and five windows. All windows have edge moulded cross mullions with casements, although the upper left-hand window is blocked with stone and brick. The central doorway is adorned with a bolection architrave and has a 19th-century door with four moulded panels and a rectangular fanlight above. There is a string course at the first floor level, and the roof is hipped with two brick stacks. The windows on the rear and side walls have been renewed.
