Description

Rose Cottage is a terraced house that was originally two cottages, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from squared and coursed sandstone with freestone dressings, copings, and has a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and features five windows. All windows are 2-light edge-moulded mullions with small pane casements, although some lintels and mullions have been renewed. There is a doorway on the left side, which has a flat hood supported by carved brackets and a 19th-century plank door. The ends of the building have reconstituted stone stacks.
