Description
Lower Burrow Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble with freestone dressings, topped by a slate roof and featuring brick and ashlar stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays. It showcases two and three-light moulded stone-mullioned windows with square-paned leaded lights. The central entrance features a four-centred arch door opening, with spandrels and a label supported by carved corbels, leading to a plank door. There is a continuous string course above the ground floor windows. The rear elevation also includes additional stone-mullioned windows.
