Description

Lyndhurst Cottage is an attached cottage dating from 1832, with 20th-century alterations. It is located alongside Lyndhurst Place. The cottage is constructed of limestone ashlar with a slate roof, featuring moulded stacks to the left. The plan is a double-depth layout with later additions to the right, filling a triangular site. The external appearance is of two storeys and a two-window range. It has a coped parapet, a stopped cornice and frieze, a moulded platband, and chamfered rustication with radial voussoirs to the ground floor. The front and rear feature 20th-century windows and a door. The interior has not been inspected.
