Description

Penhill Cottage is a cottage that was once part of Ford's Farmhouse. It dates from the mid to late 17th century and was altered and extended in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a pantile roof. It has two storeys and consists of two bays. On the left side, there is a 2-light casement window with ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds, which is set under a dripmould. The other windows are 19th-century 2-light casements. The central entrance is a plank door located in a 20th-century gabled porch.
