Description
Sir William Napier's Table is a stone table located in the grounds of Freshford Manor, situated 30 yards southeast of the house. It is possibly from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The table features a large plain stone slab, measuring approximately 12 feet by 6 feet, supported by six stone baluster legs. It is noted that Sir William Napier, a soldier and military historian, wrote part of his "History of the Peninsular War" at this table.
