Description

Grosvenor Lodge is an early 19th-century terrace house, altered in the late 19th century. It is constructed of limestone ashlar with a crested slate roof, hipped to the left, and includes stacks to the left party wall. The house has a double-depth plan, arranged over two storeys, an attic storey, and a basement. The front elevation has a two-window range. It features plate glass sash windows, including two to the attic storey, which have a cornice and double lintel frieze. A first-floor window is set slightly into the frieze. Windows below and the six-panel door with overlight are all topped with cornices supported by consoles. A high plinth runs along the base, and the front is adorned with a grand order of Tuscan pilasters, one to the right and paired to the left. A canted bay is present at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
