Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 8 meters to the east of the Church of St. Nicholas in Whitchurch. It is likely associated with the Lessel family and features an earliest legible date of 1819, suggesting it is probably a late 18th century tomb. The tomb is square in shape and includes inscribed panels, panelled pilasters, a moulded plinth and cornice, as well as a shaped top slab.
