Description
Bridge Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of lias rubble with limestone dressings, featuring brick gable stacks and a double Roman valley roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a four-window range. The doorway is located second from the right, sheltered by a flat stone canopy supported by brackets. The windows on the ground floor have segmental heads and are of late 20th-century design, while the first-floor windows are positioned beneath the eaves. The valley roof includes gables with stone copings and moulded kneelers, along with brick chimneys that have been rebuilt at various times on each windowless gable. The rear elevation features three doorways and one window on the ground floor, along with three irregularly-placed first-floor windows. There is a 20th-century extension to the right of the main front. The interior has not been inspected.
