Description

This chest tomb, located five yards southwest of the Church of St Nicholas, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of stone and sits on a moulded plinth. The tomb features panelled sides with fluted end piers and a moulded edge on the lid. Surrounding the tomb is a railed iron fence, which has urn finials on twisted standards at the corners and in the center of the north and south sides. At the time of the re-survey, the tomb was partially obscured by foliage.
