Description
No. 133 High Street is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, currently divided into several occupations. The building is constructed of rubble, with part of the rear rendered, and features a pantile roof. It is a long, narrow property oriented gable to the street.
The exterior consists of three storeys. The street front has 20th-century replacement windows, including a small two-light small pane casement on the first and second floors, and a sixteen-pane window on the ground floor. The gable is coped and has a saddle-stone. The long return side has two-light small-paned casements on the first and second floors, and a fixed fifteen-pane window along with a two-light casement on the ground floor in the rubble section. The rear rendered part has small, deep-set sash windows at each level, and there is a doorway in the rear gable end. Two ashlar stacks are located in the valley, shared with No. 132. The interior has not been inspected, but it appears that the property underwent significant modifications in the late 20th century.
