Description
No. 24 James Street West is a terrace house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a narrow frontage and is constructed of painted ashlar with a pantile roof. The building has three storeys and two front windows, which are plain sashes. To the right, there is an early panelled door with a transom light, sheltered by a hood supported on brackets. The first floor has a platband, cornice, blocking course, and a parapet. The returns are plain, and there is a stack on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
