Description

Chippers is a building located on the west side of High Street in West Tarring, likely dating from the 18th century. It is two storeys tall and constructed of flint with brick dressings. The slope of the tiled roof has been modified to a flat design. On the upper storey, there is one sash window with glazing bars, while the lower level features a door and two modern windows. Chippers is situated abutting the rear of No 13 and was probably once connected to it. It is part of a group that includes the George and Dragon Public House and Nos 3 to 19 (odd), which enhances its historical context.
