Description
Nos 15 and 17 High Street are a pair of probably 18th-century detached buildings, modified in the early 19th century. They are not symmetrical and have a rendered exterior, with the rear of No 15 made of flint and No 17 of brick; the north end features both flint and render. The roof is hipped at the north end, with slates on the front and tiles on the rear. No 15 has two windows, with the left-hand window being a sash with glazing bars and the right-hand window being a lower modern style. No 17 also has two windows, both sashes with glazing bars, but the lower left window is a door. The central door of No 15 features six fielded panels, with the top two panels being glazed. Additionally, No 17 has a rear extension made of brick with a mansard roof. These buildings are part of a group that includes the George and Dragon Public House and Nos 3 to 19 (odd), including No 13a (Chippers).
