Description

The Kelsley Monument is a chest tomb located approximately 5 metres south of the chancel of the church in Cuckfield. It dates from around 1792 or earlier and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a moulded base, a plain chest shape, and a moulded cornice topped with a flat slab. One of the inscription panels is illegible, while the other commemorates Sarah Kelsley, who died in 1792.
