Description
The Hall is a house built around 1830, located on the north-east side of Black Hill in Lindfield. The exterior is stuccoed and features a hipped slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three windows. It has a bracket eaves cornice, with sash windows on the first floor that include marginal glazing bars and jalousies. The ground floor is distinguished by French windows adorned with cornices, pilasters, and intricate Neo-Classical style cast iron flower guards that are fretted and plumed. The porch is solid, featuring pilasters, a cornice, and pineapple finials, along with a rectangular fanlight that has intersecting ogee glazing. The entrance includes a two-panelled door and is accessed by two stone steps. Inside, there is a plain early 19th-century staircase and deep-moulded cornices.
