Description
The Richmond Arms Public House is an early 19th-century building located on Stockbridge Road. It features a hipped slate roof with brick stacks at both ends and a bracketed eaves cornice. The structure has two storeys and a basement, with two window bays. The exterior is constructed from flint and broken flint, accented with brick quoins and dressings. The sash windows have side-lights set in reveals within segmental arches, and the glazing bars are intact. On the first floor, there is a narrow panel with a segmental head in the center. Access to the building is via four steps leading up to a segmental arched doorway. The door has six flush panels in reveals, with the top two panels cut away and glazed. Above the door, there is a blocked semi-circular fanlight.
