Description

1 St Richard's Walk, formerly known as No 1 including garage, is a Grade II listed building located in The Close. This early 14th-century structure was altered in the 16th and 18th centuries. The most notable feature is the 14th-century undercroft. The three-storey front, which has two gables facing St Richard's Walk, is constructed of flints with stone quoins. It features modern windows and an 18th-century doorway adorned with Doric pilasters, a pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a six-panel moulded door, with the top two panels cut away. The former garage is now No 6 Cannon Lane.
