Description

The Treasury is a Tudor Gothic building dating from 1834, located on Canon Lane. The foundation stone was laid by the Reverend H M Wagner, who was the Vicar of Brighton. The design is similar to Wagner's contemporary Vicarage in Brighton. The building has two storeys and features three windows. It is faced with flints, complemented by stone dressings and long and short quotas, and has a slate roof with two gables. A round window with ornamental glazing is situated between the gables, and there are casement windows along with two oriel windows on the first floor.
