Description

Nos 7 and 8 Priory Road are a pair of early 19th century properties with tiled roofs. They are two storeys high, with three windows to No. 7 and two to No. 8. Both have a brick dentilled eaves cornice. No. 7 is constructed of flint with red brick quoins, featuring sash windows with flush boxes set within flat arches, and retaining their original glazing bars. It includes red brick lacing courses and a band between the first and ground floors. The modern doorcase features fluted columns and a rectangular pediment, above a door with six moulded and fielded panels. No. 8 is entirely of red brick and has two 2-light casement windows in slightly segmental arches above and below. The door and doorway are similar to that of No. 7, with the top two panels cut away and glazed.
