Description

This is a range of three 18th-century houses located at 6-8 West Pallant. The houses are three storeys high, with a basement level, and originally each had two windows on the first floor and one window on the second. Number 6 is rendered, while numbers 7 and 8 have a cemented facade. Pilasters are present at each end of the range and also between the individual houses. A parapet tops the building, before a tiled gabled roof with a gable end facing North Pallant. The sash windows have flush boxes, particularly noticeable on the ground floor. The second-floor windows have flat heads, while those on the first floor are slightly curved. The doorways are framed with a frieze and cornice above. The doors themselves are constructed with six fielded panels, of which the top two are cut away and glazed. The building is part of a group that includes the former Church of All Saints and serves as a Toc H Meeting House.
