Description

4 West Pallant is an 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic and features a steeply pitched tiled roof and two dormers. The front is made of cement and includes three sash windows set in reveals with flat arches, all retaining their glazing bars. The first floor has tall sash windows. The entrance is marked by a doorway flanked by Doric columns, topped with a pediment and a semi-circular fanlight that has curvilinear tracery. The door itself is a six-panel moulded design. It is important to note that No 3 is now part of No 4. This building is part of a group that includes the former Church of All Saints, the Toc H Meeting House, and Nos 1 to 8 (consecutive).
