Description

This is a pair of ranges of small, early 19th century houses located on Oving Road. Numbers 193 to 197 and 198 to 201 form the two ranges. Each house has two storeys and one window. The roofs are tiled, and the facades are constructed with alternating red brick and grey brick headers. Number 193, at the north-east end, has a higher frontage and painted brickwork. It features sash windows with flush boxes, and its lower window is set within a slightly segmental arch. The front door is made of six moulded panels, with the top panels cut away and glazed. The other houses have a single, two-light casement window above and below each ground floor opening. The lower windows are set within segmental arches constructed with brick voussoirs, and have glazing bars. Number 199 has modern windows. The doorways have segmental arches, and the doors are wooden and boarded, with the exception of numbers 197, 199 and 201.
