Description

No. 30 Southgate is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys tall. It features three windows on the Southgate front and five windows on the Market Avenue front. The exterior is made of cement, with a string course above the ground floor, a cornice, and a pediment at the roof. The windows are set in wide frames. Originally, there was a doorway framed with a cornice above and a six-panel moulded door. However, the ground floor walls on the north and west sides have been altered, with large plate-glass windows now inserted for a showroom.
