Middleton Lodge is a symmetrical, semi-detached building that dates from around 1800, though it may have been constructed no earlier than the 1840s. The building has two storeys and a stucco front, topped by a two-span slate roof. It features three sash windows with glazing bars, with the central window being very narrow. The central entrance consists of a narrow four-panel door that has an overlight with a rectangular pattern of glazing bars.
