Description

Rose Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 19th century. It features painted flint walls, a weather-boarded outshot at the rear, and a thatched roof that is hipped to one side. The building has an L-shaped plan and is a single storey, with an external end brick chimneystack. There are four later 19th-century four-panel sash windows and a central wooden door. Inside, some timbers are exposed, and there may be a concealed cruck on one side.
