Description

Well Cottage is a cottage that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a red pantiled roof. The building stands two storeys high and features 20th-century doors and windows. There are brick mullioned windows that have been built into the wall, along with brick end quoins, kneelers, and brick parapets. The roof is steeply pitched and has two end stacks, with the southern stack being a 20th-century rebuild. The rear of the cottage shows two different wall lines, indicating that there may have been two different builds or occupations.
