Description

Flint Cottage is a building that likely started as a pair of cottages and dates from the mid-19th century. It is two storeys high and features four windows. The exterior is faced with flints, which were once painted, and has long and short painted brick dressings and quoins. The building has an eaves cornice and a half-hipped slate roof. The glazing bars are intact. A notable feature is the handsome rain-water head, which is probably modern, depicting an owl with wings spread holding a mouse in its claws, flanked by leopard's heads.
