Description

Shoreham House is a house built around 1800, with an extension added to the left around 1880. It is constructed of gault brick, featuring a red brick cornice at the rendered parapet that conceals the roof. The house has end stacks and is two storeys high. On the right side, there are three bays with regular glazing bar sash windows that have cills, and the ground floor windows are round-arched. The central entrance features a panelled door set in a round-arched surround with a radiating fanlight, flanked by wooden piers that support an open pediment hood. To the left, there is a square two-storey bay topped with a Dutch-type gable. The front has segment-headed windows with three sashes, and there is one sash window on each side, with glazing bars only in the upper panes.
