Description
The building is a 19th-century barn located to the north-west of The Grange. It is constructed from clunch, with brick quoins and dressings, and features some brick ventilator openings. The barn has a hipped tile roof that slopes down to create a pentice over the end bays on the east side. The west side is mostly blank, except for a set of ledged double doors in the center. The east side includes various openings, featuring a central ledged double door, a Dutch type ledged door in a projecting bay at the right end, two square openings, and a segmental headed Dutch type ledged door in a projecting bay at the left end. This barn reflects the early history of the site, which was once the Grange of the Bishop of Winchester.
