Description

The memorial stone to Axel Haig is located in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints on Grayswood Road. It dates from around 1930 and is made of granite, shaped like a sloping Viking sail. The stone features a relief of a long ship and is inscribed in memory of Axel Haig, who was the architect of the church.
