Description
The White House is a two-storey house built in 1930 by architect Amyas Connell, featuring an irregular splayed plan. Constructed from reinforced concrete, it has steel casement windows, primarily horizontal, and a parapet on the roof. The entrance is sheltered by a canopy, and there is a tall window behind it that allows light into the staircase leading to the roof. To the west, there is a single-storey garage extension that matches the original design. A sun roof of a different style has been added to the north side. This building is a rare example of modern movement architecture in this part of Surrey.
