Description
Upper House Farm Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on Upper House Lane in Wonersh. The building is timber framed, with exposed timber to the rear and brick cladding to the front, incorporating some wattle and daub infill. The front is faced with 18th-century red and brown brick. The roof is tiled, hipped to the left and with tile hanging to the right gable. The cottage has two storeys, with three windows on each floor. The lower windows are set beneath segmental arches. A 17th-century stack is located at the rear, and an end stack is on the left. The front door is a five-panel door set within a gabled porch located to the left of the centre. A wing extends at right angles to the rear. Inside, some posts of the timber frame are visible.
