Description
This building is a former Presbyterian chapel, now a cottage, built in 1776 by Mrs. Elizabeth Abney of Tilford House. It is constructed of red brick and features half-hipped plain tiled roofs. The building has a parallel range plan with a pentice across the street front at a right angle to the road. It is a single storey structure with a brick modillion eaves cornice and has stacks located at the rear on both the right and left sides.
There are two 12-pane glazing bar sash windows under gauged brick heads, and a central door made up of six fielded panels set in a panelled reveal, topped with a pediment on brackets. Additionally, there is a further window to the right in the pentice extension, and two round arched windows at the west front (the rear) featuring Y tracery.
