Description

This is a barn located to the northwest of Plough Farm, dating from around 1600 and altered in the 20th century. It has a timber frame set on a brick plinth, with brick infill on the left side, colourwashed render above that, and weatherboard cladding on the right. The roof is plain tiled and extends in a pentice catslide over a brick and weatherboard extension at the front right. The barn features four framed bays with opposing entries to the right of the center. There is tension bracing in the left end bay and a queen-strut clasped purlin roof with a pentice at the end. This barn is included for its group value only.
