Description

TQ 04NW GUILDFORD WARREN ROAD (South Side, off) 4/250 Barn, approx 25 metres West of Warren Farm House GV II Barn. Late C16 with C18 extension to right, altered in C20. Timber framed on cemented brick plinth with weatherboard cladding and plain-tiled roof extending in catslide across rear aisle and with half-hipped end to right. Originally 3 framed bays with centre entrance, extended by two bays to right and with aisle added to rear. Pentice extension to front right. Entrance moved to new central position. Interior:- Arched braces survive in west side of barn (front) with Queen-strut clasped purlin roof. Staggered butt-purlin roof in north east section, some posts reset in new floor.
