Description
This barn, located approximately 25 metres west of Warren Farm House, dates from the late 16th century and has a 18th-century extension on the right side. It has been altered in the 20th century. The structure is timber framed, resting on a cemented brick plinth, and features weatherboard cladding with a plain-tiled roof that extends in a catslide across the rear aisle, ending with a half-hipped gable on the right. Originally, the barn consisted of three framed bays with a central entrance, but it has been extended by two bays on the right and has an aisle added to the rear. There is also a pentice extension at the front right, and the entrance has been relocated to a new central position. Inside, arched braces can be seen on the west side of the barn, and it has a Queen-strut clasped purlin roof. The northeast section features a staggered butt-purlin roof, with some posts reset in a new floor.
