Description
Norley House is a house dating to the 17th century, with a 20th-century extension at the rear. It has a timber-frame structure on a whitewashed brick plinth, with whitewashed brick cladding below and whitewashed roughcast infill above, all under a plain tiled roof. The building follows a T-shaped plan, oriented at right angles to the lane. It has two storeys and rear stacks on both the left and right sides. There are three framed bays, featuring diagonal first-floor bracing. The first floor has two diamond-pane leaded casement windows; one window is located below them. A gabled porch is centred, with a 20th-century door in the return wall facing the lane. The gable end has two first-floor casements and one ground-floor square bay window with a pentice roof. A rendered extension extends from the rear of the building.
