Description

The walls to Leigh Place date from the 17th century and are constructed of red brick with a plinth that is two feet high. The total height of the walls is approximately seven feet, topped with brick on edge coping. The walls extend about 200 yards by 150 yards and feature a door in the center of the north side, which is flanked by banded square piers. At the time of the re-survey, the walls were noted to be in poor condition.
