Description
Doggetts is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with extensions added to the rear left in 1983. It features a timber frame with brown and red brick cladding at the base, including some blue headers on the ground floor to the left, and painted weatherboard cladding above. The roof is plain tiled with offset end stacks. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with two metal casements in gabled, tile-hung eaves dormers, and two three-light metal casement windows on the ground floor. There is a central half-glazed door on the right-hand return front, which is also tile-hung over the ground floor.
Inside, some framing is visible on the ground floor, and there are deep fireplaces at both ends. Most of the framing is visible above, with cambered tie beams and wall framing still intact.
