Description

Nobles Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with a 19th-century extension at the rear. It features a timber frame made of thin scantling, set on a whitewashed brick plinth with brick and render infill below, and is tile hung above. The building has parallel ranges with plain tiled roofs and end stacks on the front range. It is two storeys high, with two 3-light casement windows on each floor, and the ground floor windows project. The central entrance has a four-panelled door, and there is a glazed extension to the rear right. Inside, the framing is visible on both the ceilings and walls, and there are deep brick fireplaces.
