Description
This granary and barn, located 15 yards south west of Crowhurst Place, dates back to the 15th century. It features a timber frame with red brick infilling in four bays on the eastern side, while the westernmost bay is open to the roof. The building has a Horsham slab roof and consists of five framed bays, with a wooden stair in a pentice roof addition to the north of the second bay from the west.
Inside, the structure has heavily jowled posts that support arched ties with large curved braces. The roof includes a crown post collar purl, and the interior was floored in the 16th century.
