Description
Newhouse Farm House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with additions from the 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with blue headers, sitting on a stone plinth, and features a plain tiled roof with end stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, which are topped with two tile-hung gabled casement dormers. Across the first floor, there are three 19th-century glazing bar sash windows that are set beneath gauged heads. The central entrance consists of a planked door with the top two panels glazed, framed by a fluted door surround and topped with a flat porch hood that has marbled edges and is supported on brackets. At the rear, there are 19th-century wings that extend at right angles to the main front, one made of stone and the other tile-hung.
