Description

This granary, located 10 yards west of Chaldon Court House, dates from the late 18th century. It is timber framed and stands on staddle stones, featuring weatherboard cladding and a pyramidal plain tiled roof. The building has a square shape, with one casement window on both the north and south sides. There is a central boarded door that is accessed by a flight of steps on the east side, and a pent roof extension is present at the rear. This structure is included for its group value with Chaldon Court House.
