Description

This is a late 16th-century house located on Mincing Lane in Chobham. It is an exposed timber-frame building with square framing, set upon a brick plinth and featuring roughcast rendered infill between the timbers. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The house is rectangular, with two storeys and rendered end stacks. It has three framed bays, with irregular casement windows; two windows are located on the first floor, centrally and to the right, and one window on the ground floor. A ribbed door is centrally positioned on the left-hand return front, sheltered by a pentice hood. Flanking windows are found within the pentice extension to the main house.
