Description
The Men of Bagshot War Memorial is situated in the churchyard of the Church of St Anne. It features a floriated Latin cross made from Clipsham stone, which rises from a tapering square shaft atop an octagonal plinth. This plinth is set on a tall, four-stepped octagonal base. The names of those who fell are inscribed on the top three steps. The dedication for the First World War reads "TO THE MEN OF BAGSHOT/ WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES/ FOR THEIR COUNTRY 1914 1919," while the dedication for the Second World War is on the second step and states "SECOND WORLD WAR/ 1939 – 1945."
