Description

These houses, numbered 25 to 31, stand on the north side of High Street in Windleham, near Bagshot. They were built in the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of yellow brick with red brick detailing on the ground floor. They have plain tiled roofs. The design is characterised by three narrow gabled attic dormers, a projecting brick band at the eaves, and three tall, multiple ridge stacks with red brick quoining on plinths and projecting brick bands – one centrally and one at each end. The windows are irregular and mostly have glazing bars. The ground floor has a tall, wood-framed mullioned and transomed window on the left-hand side. To the right of centre and right end are two sash windows with cambered heads. The left-hand section (Nos. 25-27) has a planked door and a half-glazed door beneath a pentice hood supported by three braced wooden pieces. To the right (Nos. 29-31), there are two planked doors also beneath a similar pentice hood.
